Letters to the Editor offer a platform for you to express your opinions and engage in meaningful discourse. With a limit of 500 words, you have the opportunity to convey your message concisely and effectively. Rest assured, all submissions will be edited for length and clarity as necessary.
To maintain the integrity of our publications, we have guidelines in place.
- We will not publish letters containing potentially libelous statements, unsubstantiated claims, or unwarranted personal attacks. Additionally, letters from accused criminals disputing facts in their cases will not be published.
- In election years, we exercise caution to ensure fairness. Therefore, letters concerning specific candidates will not be published in the issue prior to the primary, general, or consolidated elections.
- To ensure timely publication, please submit your letters by noon two (2) business days before the intended publication date. Remember, your letter must include your signature, full name, address, and telephone number. The address and telephone number are for office use only and will not be published.
